Who am I? I’m Polly Archer. English by birth, I grew up in New Zealand from the age of eleven, returning to the UK for several years in my 20s. My love of reading was encouraged from an early age by my schoolteacher mother, but my love of ‘Culture’ is a far more recent thing.
I studied anthropology and history at Wellington’s Victoria University, and later attained a graduate diploma in primary school teaching, although I no longer teach. I also hold a diploma in biblical studies and am a lay (non-ordained; not a priest) minister in the Anglican church.
Apart from The Culture Project my interests include cooking, gardening, and volunteering.
